1810 England, the height of the Napoleonic wars. It was thought that humans walked the path of enlightenment leaving monsters and dark things behind. However, those monsters and night stalkers merely hide in the darkness, as a young maid, Bernadette, soon finds out.
So, I was at Otakuthon this past weekend. It was awesome! I met Crsipin Freeman (he does the voice of Alucard in Hellsing and a myriad of other voices in video games and Anime). I got him to sign my Hellsing dvd. Nice guy. I went to multiple panels, including one on webcomics comics and graphic novels. I spoke to Lar deSouza of Looking For Group (http://www.lfgcomic.com/) and Mark Sprague of Dragon Mango (http://www.dragon-mango.com/) excellent people and artists, both. After words a couple of people came up to me expressing interest in Anathema. They've linked the comic on their own comic site Aikonia (http://www.aikoniacomic.com/) which you should also check out, because it is pretty good. Finally purchased the remaining books of the Hellsing manga series and a pair of wooden swords. One is a replica of Ichigo's sword, bankai version. If you don't know who that is, read the manga, Bleach.
