Rebecca had this to say regarding last comic's not twilight related sparklies: "Jacques is just being a punk and showing off while Jinny struggles simply to get near him.
I don't expect peeps to know this, but sometimes I use this fun visual trope in my other comics too, and certainly not only on vampire characters. It's meant to be a silly thing partially inspired the innocent but endearing sparkles of the Armstrong family, from Fullmetal alchemist."
I went back and saw the sparkles and saw that they indeed look like Armstrong sparkles and I totally love that. Please tell Rebecca I appreciate the use of them :D
as for this page she has a pretty aversive reaction to loosing her maid...i guess that comes from loosing family and that stable boy.
